Labour Migration

“International migration should be viewed not only as a threat, but as an opportunity”, according to former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Exploring new ways to manage migration

HIT Foundation strives to involve public and private stakeholders into research initiatives that explore new ways to manage migration. In November 2009 HIT was commissioned by the Dutch government to execute the first practical experiment that studies the impact of migration flows of semi-skilled migrants from outside the European Union. The pilot runs from 2010 through 2012 and will be evaluated by the World Bank.
