Foundation for Sustainable Return

The Foundation for Sustainable Return is the helpdesk for voluntary return of (former) asylum seekers in the Netherlands. The consortium was established in 2009 by nine Dutch organizations active in the field of asylum, refugees and migration.

Dutch cooperation for sustainable return

The cooperation wants to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the activities of the individual partner organizations. The aim is to provide better services to the (former) asylum seekers and increase effective utilization of financial resources provided by the Dutch government.

Within the Foundation, HIT Foundation is responsible for ‘linking & learning’ and quality control. Two HIT team members work at the Foundation for Sustainable Return located in Utrecht.
